Merry Christmas

6 Months

I can't believe that Kashe is already 6 months old. He had his appointment today and got shots so he isn't loving life right this second. Here are his stats:

Height-28 inches long (95th percentile)
Weight-18 pounds 2 ounces (5oth percentile)

Head-46 centimeters (75th percentile)

Kashe is so much fun right now. I was looking at a friends blog the other day who had just had a baby and I got to thinking how different a newborn and a 6 month old are. I can't believe how much Kashe has changed.

Here are some things that he is doing right now:

*Eating solids.......and loving it

*Constantly talking, he says da da da da alot and he just makes random noises the rest of the time

*Eats his toes

*Loves to splash in the bath

*Loves-Loves his daddy, once Ben gets home from work he won't have anything to do with me

*Super smiley-he will smile at anyone that will look at him

*Finally rolling over more

*Sits up

*Chews on the T.V. remote (I'm not sure why this is so much neater than his toys)

*Chews on my chin

*Just had his first tooth break thru

Kashe has alot of nicknames (of course with Ben as his Dad). Here are a few:

Kashe Baby, Little Man, Tiny Man, Bee Bop, Tonka Truck, Small Change (this is Uncle Brian's).

Sitting Up

Kashe also decided over Thanksgiving that he is a big boy and started sitting up on his own. The trouble is he only wants to sit up and he won't lay down and he still doesn't ROLL over! I guess he is just going to skip that rolling over stuff........he is too big for that.

He has a ring of drool to his belly button when he sits like this.

Happy Thanksgiving

These four babies had their first Thanksgiving this year so naturally we needed to take off all their clothes and take pictures! They made Thanksgiving lots of fun. (Kashe is the bald one in case anyone is confused.)

Mr. Chubs

Ben loves this picture of Kashe. The girls and Liam are all cuddled together and he is just sitting back with his arm up relaxing.

AHH! And that is a rap everybody. Great Job. Doesn't he look so proud of himself.

I think it is easy to see what we are THANKFUL for this year.

Halloween Fun

Halloween 2010

We had a fun Halloween with Kashe. We were invited to a Halloween party and needed costumes. Kashe was already going to be a football so I was the official and Ben was the quarterback:)! It was a fun party and after, we went and hung out with the cousins at Grandmas house. Cousin Brody also let us borrow his monkey costume so he was a monkey one day. He thought he was pretty cool stuff all dressed up. We went to a couple houses with his cousins to trick-or-treat and he hammed it up pretty good, giving people smiles and giggles.

Pumpkin Patch

Kashe got to go to a pumpkin patch with some of his cousins. He went on a hayride, picked a pumpkin out of the patch and went thru a cornmaze.

4 Months

Kashe is 4 Months Olds!!

Here is what is happening at 4 months:

• He weighs 15 pounds 4 ounces (50th-75th percentile)
• He is 25 1/2 inches long (75th percentile)
• His head was also in the 75th percentile
• Everytime we go to the doctor she comments on how big and long he is. She predicts at his 6 month appointment he will be in the 95th percentile.
• He makes alot of noise. I think he likes to hear his voice because he babbles all day long.
• He is super "jumpy" and the smallest noise will make him crawl out of his skin (just like his dad)
• He has found out that he can touch our faces and grabs at them all day. He still doesn't have great control of his hands so we get bonked on the nose and we have scratches on our lips!
• He likes to see everything that is going on so he has to be standing and facing out toward any action.
• He has a stuffed Mickey Mouse and Ben does a great Mickey imitation which always makes him laugh.
• Everything goes in his mouth.
• STILL NO HAIR

DUDE

When we were at the reunion my nephew Jed put a hat on his brother Liam and very seriously said, "There now you look like a DUDE." When I put this hat on Kashe I thought of Jed saying that.

We were getting ready to go for a walk and I had to cover up this poor babies white, BALD head so he wouldn't get burned. He was making the funniest faces so I had to take some pictures.

We had so much fun just like we always do. I have so many great memories of our Putnam family reunion and I look forward to it every year.

He is......................

• 12 pounds 1 ounce
• 23 1/2 inches long
• loves to eat.....he is hungry all the time
• rolls from tummy to back
• smiles at mommy and daddy
• still no hair!!!
• beautiful blue eyes (like daddy)
• loves his bouncy seat and swing
• loves to watch tv with dad

*I love the picture on the top right. I have a picture of my little sister Ashlee that looks just like that.

It is so fun to watch him do new things but it is sad to watch him get so big so fast.
